PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to include the petitioner's name in the panel fit for promotion to the post of Industrial Co-operative Officer by considering the exemption already granted by the first respondent in his favour with regard to possession the requisite qualification of pass in Account Test for Subordinate Officer Part II by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to include the petitioner's name in the panel fit for promotion to the post of Industrial Co-operative Officer. 2.Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that with reference to the prayer sought for in this writ petition, the petitioner submitted a representation on 04.07.2019 to the first https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent. But till date no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the relief stated supra. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2019 would be considered as expeditiously as possible on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2019 and take a decision on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
