ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking direction to the Respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachments made by Respondents 5 to 7 in the Iyyaru River near to Viswambal Samuthiram South, Uppiliyapuram, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of representation made by this petitioner on 27.1.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4 produced the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Thuraiyur in Na.Ka.Aa.1/7550/18 dated 25.09.2018, followed by the communication of the Executive Engineer, PWD/WRD, Ariyaru Basin Division, Trichy to the Government Pleader dated 26.10.2018 stating the removal of encroachment has been completed and possession has been taken including the live trees and plantations in terms of sub section (3) of Section 7 of Tamilnadu Protection of Tanks and Eviction of Encroachment Act, 2007. 3.We are satisfied with the compliance of the order of this Court dated 07.09.2018. Hence, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
