ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a direction to the second respondent to consider his application for giving electricity service connection.

2.Heard Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.E.P.Venkateshwar, learned counsel for the second respondent.

3.The petitioner claims to be in possession of poramboke land measuring 5 cents and he has put up a house therein. He has also filed an application on 03.05.2017 seeking electricity service connection before the second respondent. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.Considering the limited relief sought in this writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with Regulation 27 of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code, 2004, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
