ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the second respondent to issue joint patta in the name of the petitioner along with his mother's name in respect of the property to an extent of 30 cents bearing No.192/1 in Rettiyapatti Village Natham Taluk in Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2017.

2.Heard Mr.R.Pandi Maharaja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner claims to be in possession of poramboke land measuring to an extent of 30 cents in Survey No.192/1 in Rettiyapatti Village Natham Taluk in Dindigul District for 40 years and has filed an application before the Tahsildar, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

second respondent herein to issue patta in respect of the said property. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
