ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to issue Patta for the petitioner's lands at Athankarai Group, Servaikaran Oorani Village, Ramnad District in S.No.118/3 measuring 1 acre and 46 cents as per his sale deed dated 10.09.1979 and also by his representation dated 02.07.2019.

2.Heard Mr.M.S.Suresh Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

4.The petitioner, in order to get patta for the land in S.No.118/3 situated at Athankarai Group, Servaikaran Oorani Village, Ramnad District, which according to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, was purchased by the father of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner on 10.09.1979, from whom, the petitioner inherited the same, had given a representation on 02.07.2019 to the respondents, especially, the 1st respondent. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is decided by the 1st respondent on merits within a time and orders are passed therein, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2019 would be considered and orders would be passed on, within a time to be stipulated by this Court. 6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents, especially, the 1st respondent to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 2.7.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, of course, after hearing the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
