PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 4 to take effective steps to ensure the petitioner's family to participate in the temple festival to be held on 12.9.2018 for Sree Sithi Vinayagar Temple at Kalyanaramapuram, Peravoorani Taluk, Thanjavur District, as per order in W.P.(MD) NO.19228 of 2015 dated 28.8.2018.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to take steps to ensure that the petitioner's family to participate in the temple festival to be held on 12.09.2018 in the Sree Sithi Vinayagar Temple at Kalyanaramapuram Peravoorani Taluk, 2.The case of the petitioner is that the sixth respondent is not receiving the Thalaikattu vari and is not permitting the petitioner to participate in the festival.

3.Mr.R.Rajaraman, learned counsel, who appears for the sixth respondent would submit that there is no objection for the sixth respondent to receive the Thalaikattu vari and permit the petitioner to participate in the festival. The sixth respondent will not prevent the petitioner from participating in the temple festival. 4.Recording the above submissions, the petitioner shall be permitted to participate in the festival to be conducted on 12.09.2018 after receiving the Thalaikattu vari from the petitioner. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
