This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give permission and adequate police protection for conducting Pongal festival at Sri Erakamman Karuppasamy Temple, Karukkattanpatti, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, on 09.06.2025 and 10.06.2025, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2025.

2. When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner's representation has been considered and permission has also been granted to conduct Pongal festival at Sri Erakamman Karuppasamy 2/4
