ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner arbitration proceedings pending before the first respondent. 2.According to the petitioner his land was acquired by the first respondent for the purpose of laying NH45. Subsequently an award has also been passed. Being not satisfied with the quantum of award, the petitioner has filed an application seeking enhancement https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of compensation on 24.10.2016, but so far the first respondent has not taken any steps to dispose of the application. Hence, he filed the Writ Petition.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, based on the instructions given by the first respondent has submitted that the first respondent will dispose of the application of the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and he has also produced the proceedings sent by the District Collector / the first respondent dated 09.01.2018.

4.In view of the undertaking given by the first respondent, this Writ Petition is disposed of and the first respondent is directed to dispose of the application made by the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording opportunity to the petitioner.
