Heard Mr.S.Siva Thilakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Shaji Bino, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed as against the order of suspension. It is reported that pending Writ Petition, the petitioner died and hence, the Department has also closed the departmental proceedings initiated against him. But the terminal benefits of the petitioner have not been settled to the legal heirs of the petitioner.

W.P(MD)No.16582 of 2020 3.In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. It is open to the legal heirs of the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities for the disbursement of terminal benefits of the petitioner. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
