ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the Tahsildar, Sankarankovil, the third respondent herein to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2017.

2.Heard Mr.S.Lingarasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Govindan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner claims that the properties in Survey https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Nos.739/1A1, 739/1A2, 739/1B, 739/1C, 739/2A, 739/2B, 739/2C,

739/2D, 739/2E, 392B, 740/3, 740/4, 406/1, 406/2, 406/3 and 406/4 were settled in his favour by his father in the year 2008. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 11.12.2017 to the third respondent to issue patta in his favour. Since no order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed for the relief stated supra.

4.Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.12.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to the rival parties, if any. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
