O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to give permission and protection for conducting the 'Adal Padal Programme' on 15.01.2018 between 08.00 p.m., to 12.30 p.m., at Arul Migu Sree Sithi Vinayagar Kovil Festival, N.Chokkanathanapatti Village, Palakurichi Post, Tiruchirappalli District.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that for the past 15 years the village people are celebrating the festival by conducting the programs such as 'Adal Padal Programme', likewise, on 15.01.2018, also they decided to celebrate the festival at the above said temple and for that, they have already given a representation to the respondent and no order has been passed till now.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader has not raised any serious objection.

4.The respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.12.2017 and dispose of the same on or before 10.01.2018.
