ORDER
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed for the relief of directing the respondent to dispose of the petition in O.A.No.Unnumbered/2024 pending on the file of the respondent.
3. It appears that the petitioner has filed a petition/application under Section 64 (1) of the TNHR&CE Act, 1959, dated 15.04.2024.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent, on instructions, submits that the aforesaid petition/application filed under Section 64(1) of the TNHR&CE Act, 1959, dated 15.04.2024 will be considered and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months.
5. Recording the above submissions, the Court is inclined to dispose of this Writ Petition by directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the 2/4
petitioner's petition/application within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Needless to state, the petitioner shall be heard before the final orders are passed in the petition/application filed by the petitioner under Section 64(1) of the TNHR&CE Act, 1959.
