Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to mutate patta for the (i)5 cents in Survey No.5/1 and an extent of 1 acre 11 cents in Survey No.7/5 of Thennankudi Village, Peravoorani Taluk;

(ii) An extent of 20 cents in Survey No.217/1 and an extent of 62 cents in Survey No.217/4 at Mavadukurichi Village, Peravoorani Taluk, Tanjore District;

as described in Item-1 in the final decree in O.S.No.24 of 2013 dated 06.02.2014, Sub-Court, Pattukottai.

O R D E R

According to the petitioner, in a final decree dated 06.02.2014 passed in O.S.No.24 of 2013 by the Sub-Court, Pattukottai, some properties were given to the petitioner. Pursuant to the decree, the petitioner filed an application dated 10.03.2017 before the second respondent. The second respondent initiated enquiry proceedings and also issued notice dated 13.07.2017 to the Village Administrative Officer, Mavadukurichi to produce all the records. But so far, no order has been passed, hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

complete the enquiry and pass reasoned orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
