Respondent/Respondent Prayer :- This Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to call for the records pertaining to the order dated 13.07.2019 passed in Lok Adalat Case No.243 of 2019 on the file of the National Mega Lok Adalat, Theni and set aside the same in so far as non awarding of interest due to default of deposit amount by the respondent within the time stipulated by the National Mega lok Adalat, Theni.

ORDER:- This Civil Revision Petition coming upon for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.C.Jeganathan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.P.Prabhakaran, Standing Counsel for the respondent, this Court made the following order: Today, the matter is taken up for hearing under the caption 'for reporting compliance'. The learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondent are present before this Court. 2.Earlier, this Court, by its order dated 20.11.2020, disposed of the Civil Revision Petition and directed the respondent/Transport Corporation to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-(Rupees One lakh only) as interest for the default-period on or before 11.01.2021 and adjourned the matter for reporting compliance on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 11.01.2021.

3.Pursuant to the above order, the learned counsel for the respondent/State Transport Corporation, has produced a letter in Ref.No.LD:MACS:SGS:1842 dated 05.01.2021, stating that as per the order of this Court, a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One lakh only) was deposited vide Canara Bank cheque No.345834, dated 05.01.2021. The same is recorded.
