ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by D. KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent viz. Verkilambi Town Panchayat to stop the illegal and unauthorised construction being put up by the second respondent in Re.Sy.No.248/1 (presently Re.Sy.No.248/1A2), Mekkodu (Presently Kumarangudi) Village, Kallanguzhi Desam, Thiruvattar Taluk, Kanyakumari District, within the territorial limits of Verkilambi Town Panchayat and remove them.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the unauthorized construction had already been removed.

3. In view of the said submission, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
