Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to give permission with protection to conduct the cultural function Aaadal - Paadal at Ranasingapuram public stage in Maha Sivarathiri Festival of Arulmigu Kalathudaya Iyyanar Swami Temple, Ranasingapuram Village, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District, scheduled on 25.02.2017 based on the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.Prasanna Rajadurai for Mr.S.Muthalraj For Respondents : Mr.D.Muruganandam, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Adalpadal in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 01.02.2017 a representation has been given to the respondents, but the same has not been considered.

4.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 5.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent viz., Sub Inspector of Police,

Thiruppathur Police Station, Sivagangai District is directed to look into the representation dated 01.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
