PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to make necessary changes in the petitioners EPF account number TN/MAS0012173/000/001235 in respect of his date of joining 25.09.1982 and consequently directing to issue a revised pension based on the petitioners representations dated 25.09.2023, 19.03.2024, 31.05.2024.

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.Heard Mr.C.Ezhilarasu, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader and Mr.A.John Xavier, learned counsel for the respondents. 3.The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondents to make necessary changes in the petitioners EPF account number TN/MAS0012173/000/001235 in respect of his date of joining 2/5
25.09.1982 and consequently directing to issue a revised pension based on the petitioner's representations dated 25.09.2023, 19.03.2024, 31.05.2024.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there was some discrepancies in making reference about the GPF number of the petitioner and for changing the same, the petitioner has given representations. However, so far the same have not been considered.
5. The learned standing counsel submitted that the petitioner has retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.09.2022. Hence, it is stated that the papers have been submitted to the regional office at Chennai and hence the petitioner has to give his application only to the authorities at Chennai.
6. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of and the first respondent is directed to forward the papers to the third respondent (suo motu impleaded today) within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the third 3/5
respondent is directed to pass orders within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs.
