Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take immediate action to inaugurate the new Ramanathapuram Intensive Care Unit Building, Ramanathapuram District Head Quarters Hospital, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to inaugurate the newly constructed Intensive Care Unit Building, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Ramanathapuram District Headquarters Hospital, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.It is averred in the petition that the petitioner is a resident of R.R.Sethupati Nagar, Ramanathapuram. Further it is averred in the petition that in District Headquarters Hospital, Ramanathapuram, a separate building has been constructed as Intensive Care Unit. But the same has not been inaugurated. Under the said circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

3.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

4.It is seen from the records that the concerned building has already been constructed and it is fit for inauguration. 5.Considering the fact that the concerned building is fit for inauguration, this Court is of the view to pass the following order.

6.In fine, this writ petition is allowed without costs and the third respondent viz., District Collector, Ramanathapuram District is directed to inaugurate the building mentioned in the petition within a period of fifteen days.
