Mrs.J.Padmavathy Devi, learned Special Government Pleader, confirms that the petitioner's appeal preferred on 16.08.2018 is still pending before the first respondent / Secretary. She agrees that a time frame may be fixed to dispose the said appeal.

2. In these circumstances, since the appeal is pending for nearly one year, the first respondent is directed to dispose the same in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the petitioner.
