This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant permission to conduct Aadi Kuthiraieduppu festival at Bhagavanpatti Village, Valayapatti Post, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District on 31.07.2016.
2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court by an order dated 23.06.2016 in WP(MD) No.11141 of 2016, granted permission to conduct the festival sought therein, by incorporating certain conditions and hence, similar order may also be passed in the present Writ Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the some of the conditions imposed in the order dated 23.06.2016, have not been complied with and therefore, the respondent did not grant permission. However, the learned Additional Government Pleader undertakes to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2016, considering the earlier order passed by this Court in WP(MD)No.11141 of 2016. 6.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, in the light of the order passed by this Court in WP(MD)No.11141 of 2016. 7.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
