Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to carry out the petitioner's name in the computer data entry for grant of Patta with regard to S.F.Nos.581 and 585/12 of Mandaiyur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District at the earliest.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the second respondent to carry out the petitioner's name in the computer data entry for grant of Patta with regard to S.F.Nos.581 and 585/12 of Mandaiyur Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2. It appears that the petitioner has already made a representation on 12.09.2016 seeking for such relief. Therefore, it is for the second respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law.

3. This Court, at this stage, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, by issuing a direction to the second respondent to pass such an order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, also by considering the objections of the rival claimants if any.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
