Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant drinking water connection in 388/50, A.1, Karumalai Street, Pilaviduthi, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudhukottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 04.01.2017, preferred by the petitioner in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner seeks for grant of drinking water connection to his house property.

It is seen that the petitioner has made a representation on 04.01.2017, based on which, the third respondent directed the second respondent to consider the request of the petitioner and take appropriate action. has approached this Court.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the request of the petitioner for grant of drinking water connection to his house property and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
