ORDER
The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide sum assured premium amount of Rs.1 lakh to the petitioner in light of the LIC Policy No.324221222 by considering the representation dated 20.06.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondents 1 to 3. Since the fourth respondent is a formal party, none appeared.
3. The learned counsel for both sides, when the case is taken up for hearing, submitted that, the issue raised in this writ petition between the parties have been amicably settled and in this regard they filed a memo of compromise signed by both sides dated 20.08.2019, which reads thus:
" MEMO OF COMPROMISE The parties to the above writ petition have compromised the dispute in the following terms: 1.The respondent Life Insurance Corporation of India pays to the petitioner a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) vide cheque no.107836 dt. 13.08.2019 drawn on Axis Bank, Ilanji being full and final settlement of the insurance claim arising due to the death of the petitioner's husband Mr.M.Shankaran.
2.The petitioner S.Pandiyalakshmi acquits the respondent corporation from any payment or charges in respect of the death of her husband M.Shankaran under policy No.324221222.
3.Parties to bear their own costs.

4. In view of the said settlement reached between the parties, which has been reduced in writing, where both parties have signed, and by recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
