Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus,directing the respondents to treat the period of termination and reinstatement between 30.6.2003 to 18.4.2004 as a period spent on duty (I.e.,) 9 months and 18 days and to pay the salary and other allowances for the same to the Petitioners with 12% interest. COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to treat the period of termination and reinstatement between 30.6.2003 to 18.4.2004 as a period spent on duty (I.e.,) 9 months and 18 days and to pay the salary and other https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
allowances for the same to the Petitioners with 12% interest. 2.Mr.Mukesh Kumaravel, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petitions itself are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel for the Petitioners have submitted that this Court has already considered the request of the Petitioner, wherein, the relief sought for by the Petitioner therein was similar in nature as that of the present Writ Petition, in W.P(MD) No.10382 of 2007, dated 26.11.2008. Hence the learned counsel for the Petitioner has submitted before this Court that the request of the Petitioner may also be considered in the light of the judgement mentioned supra, within the time limit specified by this Court.
4.In view of the above submission, the respondents concerned is directed to consider the request of the Petitioners by their common representation, dated 26.12.2014 in the light judgement of this Court made in W.P(MD)No.10382 of 2007, dated 26.11.2008 and also other representations in this regard, if any, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment to do so.
5.With the above direction, these Writ Petitions stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
