ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to revoke the suspension order dated 19.07.2012 and reinstate the petitioner to the post of Salesman in TASMAC shop at No.5512 or any other shop at Madurai District. 2.Mr.H.Arumugam, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was appointed as Salesman in the TASMAC Shop No.5512 at
Madurai South, Madurai District. In the meantime, a case in Cr.No.17 of 2007 has been registered against the petitioner. Pursuant to the criminal case, the petitioner was placed under suspension by order dated 19.07.2012. Thereafter, this Court by order dated 14.10.2015, has acquitted the petitioner from the said criminal case. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 13.03.2018 to reinstate the petitioner into service, but till date no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed for the relief stated supra.
3.In reply, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 13.03.2018 would be considered as expeditiously as possible on merits and in accordance with law.
4.Agreeing with the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2018 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
