PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2020 for providing adequate police protection to the Petitioner's life and limb for fencing her landed property situated in Survey No.1525/1 R.Kombai Village, Guziliyambarai Taluk, Dindigul District, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondents 1 and 2 to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2020 for providing adequate police protection to the Petitioner's life and limb for fencing her landed property situated in Survey No.1525/1 R.Kombai Village, Guziliyambarai Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. The petitioner seeks police protection stating that the petitioner has purchased an agricultural land vide document No.1610 of 2020 dated 14.10.2009. The petitioner cultivating crops in her agricultural land. In order to grab the property, the respondents 3 to 6 are giving trouble to the petitioner. With the help of Revenue Officials the petitioner's property has already been surveyed. After surveying the land, the respondents 3 to 6 are trying to encroach the property. She has also made a representation 1/3

dated 11.09.2020 to the respondents 1 and 2, to give police protection to fence her land. So far, no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence, the present petition. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 11.09.2020 and give police protection, if it is necessary.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

5. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.09.2020, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If necessary, the respondent police is directed to give police protection to the petitioner. If it is found that police protection is not necessary, based on the petitioner's complaint, the representation shall be rejected and the same shall be communicated to the petitioner so that he can work out his rights in the manner known to law.

6.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
