Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to survey the petitioner's land and mark four boundaries in S.Nos.2/2 & 2/4, to an extent of 6.35 Acres in Patta Nos.1238 & 4102 situated at T.Cuddalore Village, Vedachandur Taluk, Dindigul District in terms of Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Survey & Boundaries Act, 1923 and by considering the petitioner's representations dated 14.12.2016, 20.12.2016 and 04.01.2017 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to survey the land and mark four boundaries in Survey Nos.2/2 and 2/4, to an extent of 6.35 Acres in Patta Nos.1238 & 4102 situated at T.Cuddalore Village, Vedachandur Taluk, Dindigul District, based on his representations dated 14.12.2016, 20.12.2016 and 04.01.2017.

2. Needless to say that it is for the respondent to consider the above representations of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants if any as well.

3. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on the claim made by the petitioner, only with a direction to the respondent to pass such an order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
