The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent Bank to grant educational loan by considering his application, dated 19.08.2016.

2. Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he made such application as early as on 19.08.2016, the respondent Bank has not considered the same so far. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
