ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.1667/7A of an extent of 1.15.0 cents situated at D.Edaiyapatti East Village, Kulithali Taluk, Karur District, based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 28.02.2019, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.B.Santhanam Rajeshkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional

Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.The petitioner in order to get patta for the land comprised in Survey No.1667/7A to the extent of .15.0 cents situated at D.Edaiyapatti East Village, Kulithali Taluk, Karur District, had given an application on 28.02.2019 to the respondent, especially, the second respondent. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that if the said representation is directed to be considered by the second respondent on merits within a time frame and order is directed to be passed, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5.Heard, Mr.P.Kannithevan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said representation of the petitioner would be considered by the second respondent on merits within a time frame. 6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.02.2019 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law and in this regard, if there is any rival claimants, they can also be heard along with the petitioner and accordingly, needful shall be done and final order shall be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." No costs.
