O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by V.LAKSHMINARAYANAN, J.] The petitioner seeks for removal of encroachment made by the third respondent in Survey No.580/1 of Sirumalai Village, Thalakadai, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, on instructions, submitted that pursuant to the earlier order of this Court, dated 31.08.2023, the encroachment in Survey No.580/1, which had been made by the third respondent by way of fencing, has been removed and possession of the said land has also been taken over by the Forest Department.

3. As the relief sought for by the petitioner having been granted, nothing survives for adjudication and the writ petition is therefore dismissed. No costs.
