Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the 2nd respondent in M.H.S.Confdl.No.112/2021 dated 09.08.2021 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the the body or person of the detenu, namely, Siva alias Rakki Siva, son of Velmurugan alias Rakki, aged about 25 years, now detained in Palayamkottai Central Prison, before this Court and set him at liberty.

Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.5026, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 28.10.2021, the detention order has been revoked.

2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
