Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the arrears of revised pension to the petitioner from 01.01.1996 to till date and subsequently pay the pension of the petitioner in accordance with the revision of pension order in Na.Ka.No.230/A4 dated 23.01.2014 based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2016. ORDER

The petitioner is the pensioner. He seeks the benefits under G.O.Ms.No.363, dated 23.08.2013. In fact, the respondents have already implemented the said G.O. In this case, the pension payable to the writ petitioner has also been revised by proceeding dated 13.02.2015. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the arrears are yet to be paid. 2.The stand of the first respondent is that the said amount has been disbursed.

3.Be that as it may, it is seen that no order has been passed on the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2016. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to pass orders on the said representation dated 27.07.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
