************* [Order of the Court was made by K.RAVICHANDRABAABU.,J.] The Petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to issue nomination forms for the election to the third respondent-society and accept the same and further to direct the respondents 7 and 8 to afford sufficient police protection to the entire election process of the sixth respondent society starting from 15.7.2019, the date of nomination till 23.7.2019, the date of counting and announcement of result.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent and the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 2 to 8.
3.When the matter is taken up today for admission, it is represented by the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 2 to 8 that the Petitioner's nomination is also received and required number of Police force is also deployed. He would further submit that the Police force will be deployed throughout the election process till the declaration of the results. Therefore, he contended that the apprehension of the Petitioner is not well-founded. The above submissions made by the learned Additional Advocate General is placed on record.
4.Recording the above said submission, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
