ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.264 of 2020 registered on the file of Inspector of Police, Keelathooval Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. 2.Mr.K.Senthil Murugan/defacto complainant is present in person before me. He has been duly identified by Thiru.R.Muthuramalingam, Head Constable attached to Keelathooval Police Station, Ramanathapuram District. The parties have filed a compromise memo jointly. The defacto complainant does not want to pursue the matter. The parties have arrived at amicable settlement. When the defacto complainant wants to close the issue, it would not be in the interest of justice to continue the prosecution. To secure the ends of justice, the impugned FIR is quashed. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
