This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent/District Revenue Officer, Virudhunagar, to pass orders consequent to proceedings of the third and fourth respondents dated 10.02.2020 and 20.09.2019, respectively, and also issue patta to the petitioner for the land at Old S.No.139/5 new Sub Division S.No.139/38 measuring 278 sq.mts. at Mayaleri Village, Thiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2.Heard Mr.A.Srinivasan, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Ms.D.Farjana Ghousia, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3.The aforementioned lands of 278 sq.mts., is in the backyard of the house of the petitioner. The petitioner seeks regularization of occupation. In this connection, the third and fourth respondents have passed orders approving the same, but stipulating condition of payment of value of the land. Consequent to the orders passed by third and fourth respondents, the second respondent will now have to pass necessary orders. The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to pass such orders.

4.A direction is placed on the second respondent to pass necessary orders on or before 31.08.2023. If any clarifications are required, the second respondent may issue notice to the petitioner herein and seek the clarifications, as are required.
