ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Selection Grade Conductor seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents to settle the arrears of dearness allowance for the period from January 2018 to March 2018 and July 2018 to August 2018 for a period of 5 months along with belated payment interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of his retirement till the date of the payment.

2. Admittedly, the petitioner has attained superannuation and the dearness allowance arrears has remained unpaid for more than three years. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to disburse the terminal benefits along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

3. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
