Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. By the impugned order, the petitioner has been transferred from Usilampatti to Pudukulam. The order was passed on 24.05.2023. The petitioner is yet to join in the transferred place. He wants the same to be reconsidered. The petitioner has given representation dated 31.05.2023. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that he will be satisfied if the said representation is disposed of.

3. Without going into the merits of the matter, I direct the second respondent to pass order on the said representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this 2/4

order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The issue is left entirely to the discretion of the second respondent.

4. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
