2. With the consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner traces his title to the land in question through an unregistered sale deed dated 04.05.2010. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Municipality has produced the registered gift sale deed dated 22.08.2003, wherein, the land in question has been gifted to the Municipality to be used as a road. Hence, we see no merit in the writ petition.
