[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.D.Venkatesh, learned counsel takes notice for the respondent.

2. The petitioner seeks a direction to the appellate authority for disposal of her appeal filed on 27.12.2021.

3. The petitioner who had worked as a Masalji in the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court, Thoothukudi, was slapped with a punishment of compulsory retirement by the Chief Judicial Magistrate on 13.09.2021. Aggrieved, the petitioner has moved the Registrar General of this Court by way of an appeal. Citing her misfortune for having been visited with the punishment, the learned counsel for the petitioner would seek a direction to the appellate authority to dispose of the appeal at an early date.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the High Court would submit that remarks had been called for from the disciplinary authority and they are awaited.

5. Considering the plight of the petitioner, who had compulsorily retired from service, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the appellate authority, namely, the Registrar General of this Court, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 27.12.2021, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
