Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2016 given in person before the 2nd respondent and thereby directing him to provide the police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his family from the continuous life threat given by the respondents 3 to 7. The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2016 given in person before the 2nd respondent and thereby directing him to provide the police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his family from the continuous life threat given by the respondents 3 to 7. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.Mr.D.Muruganandham, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that as per the representation dated 10.03.2016, the respondents are not conducting any enquiry. He would further submit that even after measurement of the property by qualified and competent surveyor, instead of approaching the competent civil Court, the respondents 3 to 7 are causing interference. Therefore, the respondents may be directed to consider the representation.
5.Under such circumstances, the 2nd respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
