..Respondent PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose by passing final verdict on my complaint which is pending as S.H.R.C. No.3797 of 2007 pending on his file as expeditiously as possible within the stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of this Court was delivered by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) The petitioner has approached this Court by filing this Writ Petition alleging that despite a receipt and acknowledgement of the complaint lodged by him to the State Human Rights Commission, no orders have been passed.

2. Heard the submissions made by Mr.R.Anand, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Arulvadivel @ Sekar, learned Counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. On instructions, it is submitted by the learned Counsel for the respondent that final order has been passed by the respondent Commission on 06.01.2014 and it was also communicated to the petitioner.

4. In the light of the said development, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition and therefore, it is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
