Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.01.2017 to include all communities including Arunthathiyars in the Jallikattu scheduled to be held on 19.02.2017 at Ayyampatti Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District and all other such subsequent events this year and in the years to come. ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to permit all community peoples in the village mentioned in the petition, in Jallikattu scheduled to be held on 19.02.2017, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.It is represented by both parties that the Jallikattu mentioned in the petition has already been conducted, wherein all community peoples have taken participation.

therefore the same is liable to be dismissed. 4.In fine, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
