Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 18.02.2017 at about 09.00 p.m. at Periyar Thidal, Melavaladi Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy District.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that on 13.02.2017 a representation has been given to the respondent, but the same has not been considered and therefore this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

Police Station, Trichy District is directed to look into the representation dated 13.02.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
