ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking to quash the order passed by the first respondent herein in Na.Ka.No.5077/A/2018-2, dated 23.11.2018, and consequently, direct the respondents herein to permit the petitioner to discharge her duty as a Sweeper in the second respondent Office. 2.According to the petitioner, she was appointed as Sweeper in South Achampatty Village Library on 01.12.2003. On 10.11.2018 and 11.11.2018, she was not permitted by the second respondent to discharge her duty. Therefore, she gave a representation to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.15839 of 2019 District Collector, Tirunelveli, on 12.11.2018. While so, the first respondent, vide his proceedings dated 23.11.2018, informed that the petitioner has not attended the duty regularly and therefore, she was stopped from attending the duty.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has not attended the duty regularly and therefore, she was stopped from attending the duty. If the petitioner makes any request for providing employment to her as Part-Time Sweeper in the nearby Libraries under the jurisdiction of the first respondent, the same will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed. 4.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a request before the first respondent for providing employment to her as Part-Time Sweeper in the nearby Libraries, which are under the jurisdiction of the first respondent. If any such request is received from the petitioner, the first respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
