PRAYER IN W.P(MD)NO.13487 OF 2016:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue house site patta in favour of the Petitioner based on his representation dated 12.7.2016 which relates to S.No.106/17, Chithu Moondradaipu Village, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District. PRAYER IN W.P(MD)NO.13488 OF 2016:Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue house site patta in favour of the Petitioner based on his representation dated 12.7.2016 which relates to S.No.106/17, Chithu Moondradaipu Village, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2.By consent of both sides, the main Writ Petitions itself are taken up for final disposal.
3.No counter is filed on behalf of the Respondents. 4.According to the Petitioners, the representations, dated 12.7.2016, seeking issuance of patta in respect of the subjectmatter of the property in issue is pending on the file of the Third Respondent/The Tahsildar, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District.
5.The stand of the Petitioners is that many persons in their village had obtained house-site patta for occupation over poramboke lands, but for them alone, the Respondents have selectively denying issuance of patta, which cause prejudice to them.
6.As on date, the representations of the Petitioners, dated 12.07.2016 are pending on the file of the Third Respondent/The Tahsildar, Kariapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District, without any disposal or progress and hence, at this stage, this Court without going into the merits of the subject-matter in issue, simpliciter, directs the Third Respondent to look into the representations of the Petitioners, dated 12.7.2016, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Thereafter, the Third Respondent is directed to pass a reasoned speaking order on merits in a fair, free,unbiased and dispassionate manner(of course after providing necessary opportunity to the Petitioner and others concerned, if any, by adhering to the principles of natural justice in true letter and spirit) within a period of three weeks thereafter. In case, the concerned authority/Third Respondent is in requirement of copies of necessary/relevant documents, then it is the prime duty of the Petitioners to furnish the same to such authority, without any loss of time, so as to enable the said authority to dispose of their representations, dated 12.7.2016, within the time determined by this Court. The petitioners are directed to lend their assistance/co-operation to the Third Respondent, in disposing of their representations, dated 12.7.
2016, within the time adumbrated by this Court.
7.With the aforesaid observations and directions, the Writ Petitions stands disposed of.
