PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's objections dated 19.11.2025 and cancel the patta granted to ineligible persons in the light of order passed by the Respondent No.2 dated 13.10.2025 by removing the encroachment in Survey Nos.113/1B, 114/1, 114/2 situated at Panikanenthal Utkadai, Ariyanenthal Village, Kariyapatti Taluk, Viruthunagar District within the time period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's objections dated 19.11.2025 and cancel the patta granted to ineligible persons in the light of order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 13.10.2025 by removing the encroachment in Survey Nos. 2/6

113/1B, 114/1, 114/2 situated at Panikanenthal Utkadai, Ariyanenthal Village, Kariyapatti Taluk, Viruthunagar District within a time frame.

2. This Court in W.P(MD)Nos.6342 and 12008 of 2025, dated 26.06.2025 has directed the authorities to follow the procedure under the Revenue Standing Orders and also the guidelines issued by the Government and allot lands to landless poor people for construction of houses to protect their livelihood under the scheme. The present writ petition has been filed to implement the orders of this Court.

3. Learned Government Advocate on written instructions from the 6th respondent/Tahsildar, would submit that more than 700 applications have been received seeking patta in Ariyaenthal Village and those applications will be processed and decided on their own merits.

4. In that view of the matter, no further order is required. The respondents are directed to implement the orders of this Court in W.P(MD)Nos. 6342 and 12008 of 2025, dated 26.06.2025, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
