ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents to settle the retirement benefits including Provident Fund, Leave Salary, Gratuity, unpaid salary balance of Rs. 95,598/- (March-May 2016) etc. with 18% interest thereof by considering his representation dated 13.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he worked in the second respondent Society and retired on 31.05.2016. After retirement, he has not been paid the retirement benefits. Hence, he sent a representation dated 13.06.2016 to the respondents https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

seeking to disburse the retirement benefits. Since the same has not been considered so far, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the petitioner's case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.06.2016 seeking retirement benefits and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
