O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to conduct Innisai Kacheri on 01.08.2016, 02.08.2016, 04.08.2016 and 05.08.2016 at about 8. p.m. to 3. a.m. on the eve of Aadi Kodai Festival of Sree Perumal Swamy Parvathi Ambal Temple, Puthukulam Village, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

regularly in order to promote harmony during the above said festival period; that a representation was given to the respondent on 27.07.2016 seeking permission and protection for the festival, however, the same was not considered by the respondent so far and hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, gave an undertaking that the respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.

6.In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law forthwith, as the programme is scheduled to be held from 01.08.2016.

7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
