O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No. 52 of 2020 on the file of the 1st respondent police. 2.The contention of the petitioners is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.52 of 2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 342, 324 of IPC and Section 4 of the TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, against the petitioners. Seeking quashment of the same on various grounds this petition has been filed.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that after completing the investigation, final report was made ready, so far it has not been presented before the concerned Court. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to present the final report immediately. On receipt of such final report, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, shall process the same within the 2/4
time stipulated as per Rules. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the above said final report through appropriate proceedings, if so he aggrieved.
5.With the above said directions and liberty, this criminal original petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
