O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st and 2nd respondent to conduct a proper enquiry on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2024 and 21.05.2024

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent, who is working as a Police Constable is threatening the petitioner over phone and he has also enclosed the details of the phone number.

3. Whether a police officer and anybody else has intimidated the petitioner either in person or over phone, it needs to be enquired only by registering a criminal case. The respondent police is expected to register the criminal case and find out the details about the phone numbers referred in this petition and find out who is in possession of those phone numbers. The respondent police is also expected to collect the call details and ascertain whether any calls have been made by the person who is in possession for those phone numbers and the reasons for such calls. In the event if it is found that the calls have been made intentionally, criminal case has to be registered as against the concerned 2/4

person.

4. Accordingly this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. The petitioner is directed to furnish the details of the phone numbers from which he has received the calls.
